Marmi Vrech for NCL Joy

Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Cruise Line’s first custom-designed ship for the Chinese cruise market, was christened in Shangai June 27, 2017. The ship was built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.

At 167,725–gross-tons and accommodating 3,883 guests, Norwegian Joy features an innovative design, world-class finishes and amenities tailored to provide a “First Class at Sea” experience for Chinese guests.

Marmi Vrech was involved in the realization of several areas of the ship. In the Spa we have supplied and installed all the ceramic tiles; they have been cut to size to follow the designer’s specifications and make special patterns. We also made a beautiful decorative wall cladding in Calacatta oro marble processed for a book match application.

We have worked in Atrium, Plaza, Art Gallery, VIP Casino, Jewellery and Watches Shop, Teppanyaki Restaurant.

In the Teppanyaki Restaurant we have supplied and installed the ceramic tiles in three different sizes to make a special pattern.

For the VIP Casino’s entrance we have made an exquisite marble floor in three different colours. We also made an elegant and precious wall cladding in Onive Ivory with book matching slabs.

In the Main Lobby we have supplied and installed all the ceramic tiles and the floors with the central rosette. In the Noodle Bar we have supplied and installed unusual hexagonal tiles for the floors and a brick effect wall covering.
