Marmi Vrech for flagship Carnival Horizon

133,500 gross tonnage, 3960 guest capacity, 1062 feet long, 1450 onboard crew: this is Carnival Horizon, the new cruise ship built for Carnival Cruise Line. Thanks to its high technology and high standard solutions, Carnival Horizon is now the flagship of the fleet thus taking the position of the famous Carnival Vista.

Carnival Horizon has been built in the Fincantieri Shipyard of Marghera (Venice) and she has been delivered by her builder on March 28 2018.

Thanks to the high knowledge in the making of floors, finishing and handcrafts dedicated to the cruise ships fitting, Marmi Vrech has been chosen as partner for the realisation of several areas such as the Promenade, the Japanese restaurant Bonsai Teppanyaki, the Library Pub, the Alchemy Bar, the Steakhouse, the Piano Bar (all on deck 5) and the Casino (deck 4).

In this respect, we must highlight the beautiful Marmi Vrech solutions created by using the so called ‘leather technique’ which is able to give to the surface a splendid smooth feeling. This technique has been used for the tops of the Alchemy Bar, the Piano Bar and the Steakhouse.

Another astonishing example of the company know-how can be found in the tops of the Casino, where Marmi Vrech selected and used a special mineral-based material called Staron which gives a stunning and elegant impression while maintaining its characteristics of strength and durability through time.
