Marmi Vrech for the new Norwegian Bliss

The Norwegian Bliss is one of the jewels belonging to the Breakaway Plus-class cruise ships realised for the Norwegian Cruise Line.

Delivered to NCL on 21st April 2018, the ship has a gross tonnage of 168,028 GT and an overall length of 329,80 meters. With its 20 decks and 2038 staterooms, the Norwegian Bliss has a capacity for 4000 passengers.

Together with the Norwegian Escape and the Norwegian Joy, the new entry of NCL is a top class cruise ship characterised by a very refined design, the use of exclusive materials and high standard solutions for public and private areas.

In order to accomplish the very high standard level of the project, Marmi Vrech has designed and realized a marvellous 214mq oval inlay for one of the master halls floor, the Atrium Plaza. The decoration can be described as a mesh of straight lines that follows a precise pattern. The natural stones used are Quartzite Mont Blanc, Granite Platinum and Granite Grafite.

The composition is stunning for its three-dimensional effect which has been created by the chromatic contrast of more than 200 elements of natural stones used: they have been individually cut by following the veinings of each slab and laid by following a rigorous scheme. The oval is surrounded by a 500 mm band made in Granite Platinum which forms the ideal frame to this amazing work of art.
